Freedom of Worship

"EACH ACCORDING TO THE DICTATES OF THEIR OWN CONSCIOUS"
Norman Rockwell's inscription provides a great summary for the Freedom of Worship. It is our duty to support the rights of every person to worship and have faith, but not to impose those beliefs on others.

Reproductive Justice

It is not the place of the government to dictate what a person may choose to do with their own body. Bodily autonomy and access to adequate resources to make informed decisions about reproduction and if/when a person or family is ready to have a child is a vital freedom. It is not the place of the government to enforce the religious beliefs of a vocal minority on the entire population.  I will stand up for the right of women to make their own decisions regarding their bodies and choices surrounding reproduction.

I support overturning Wisconsin's 1849 Abortion Ban and codifying the rights of women in state law.

Marriage

It is not the place of government, nor a vocal religious minority, to determine the confines of love or who can and should be allowed to get married. As shown by the recent supreme court decision Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, rights currently decided solely by court decision can easily and undemocratically be rolled back.

I will work to establish the right to marry regardless of sex, gender, or race as state law.
